Tom Murry to Serve as Keynote Speaker at White Coat Ceremony

Raleigh, NC- Tom Murry, candidate for State House, District 41 will address students at the Wingate University School of Pharmacy White Coat Ceremony on Friday.

Held on Wingate University’s campus, the event serves “to ‘induct’ beginning pharmacy students into the profession of pharmacy as student pharmacists,” according to Dr. Carolyn Ford, Professor and Assistant Dean of Students at Wingate University School of Pharmacy.

Tom Murry will speak to the students about his personal experiences and provide advice as they make the transition from student pharmacist into their professional career.  The students will also be presented with their official white pharmacy coat.

“I am honored to have been asked to speak to the pharmacy students of Wingate.  The receiving of your first white coat and making the transition into the professional world is exciting and terrifying.  I am humbled to be able to provide my life experience and advice to these young professionals,” Tom Murry said.
